The opportunity was to translate a filmmaker’s visual language into a complete brand world spanning wine, cinema, hospitality, products, global experiences,

This became a long-term design system where storytelling, packaging, environments, and visual identity all spoke the same cinematic language.

Problem:

Francis Coppola existed as two powerful brands:

The legendary film director
The premium winemaker and hospitality entrepreneur

They weren’t visually or conceptually connected.

Concept:

Use film language as brand language.

Bring cinematic devices, zoetropes, frames, narrative symbolism, typography, props, and poster logic, into packaging, environments, products, and experiences.

Make everything feel like it came from the same mind.

Prepackaged drinks for Brazil, designed to bottle the sensuality of sun, beaches, and long summer nights.

Pinga is a colloquial name for cachaca, the famous Brazilian alcohol that is made from the condensation of heated sugar cane juice. We wanted to allude to that process in a rich sensual way in the packaging.
